Scenario: A Day in the Life of a Security Administrator
As a security administrator for a major Insurance company with offices
worldwide, you start your day Monday by reviewing the requested changes you
need to make to the existing Security Policy and by taking care of some basic
maintenance issues.
First, you need to respond to requests for
Security Policy changes. Due to regulation
changes, you have been asked to add a
gateway into an existing Meshed VPN. Next,
you’ll need to create a new Gateway object
and activate anti-bot for the London location’s
new server that is being deployed today. The
Sales manager has requested that one of his
employees be allowed to work remotely this
week, as he is attending a conference in Paris.
Finally, you need to add Hide NAT to the Corporate-Cluster-2 object to prepare
for some planned Security Policy changes.
Now, it’s time to troubleshoot and look for any issues that need to be addressed.
