- What are the benefits of the Deal Registration Program for New Annuity Blades?
- Check Point resellers receive an additional 10-percent points discount to their default discount with approved registered deals for New Annuity Blades, and the deal will be secured for 90 days from the time of approval by Check Point.
- What counts as New Annuity Blades?
- A Standalone (not in a Gateway) blade (previously bundled blades are not eligible), or new software security packages being purchased by a Check Point customer for the first time and is not registered in any of the customer’s user center accounts as of today.
- Who is eligible to participate in the Deal Registration program for New Annuity Blades?
- This Program is offered to Check Point's certified resellers. If you are not sure if you are a Check Point certified reseller, please contact Partner Alliance dealreg@checkpoint.com.
- How long will this program be available?
- This program is available from October 20th, 2013 until March 31st, 2014.
- Will I be able to use the approved deal registration after March 31st 2014?
- The deal is protected and the promotion discount valid for 90 days after the approval.
- How can I register my deal to this program?
- In order to register your deal, please go to www.checkpoint.com/dealreg. You will be asked to log in with PartnerMAP credentials in order to register your deal. Alternatively – go to “Promotion” area in PartnerMAP, choose “deal registration” program option, and start your registration process.If you do not have PartnerMAP access, please contact Partner Alliance dealreg@checkpoint.com.
- What information do I need to provide when submitting my deal registration request?
- You will be asked to provide basic information about your customer (name and contact information) and the deal information (estimated value and new blades information).
- What is the difference between Competitive Replacement/New Customers registration and New Annuity Blades?
- Approved registration of New Annuity Blades deal will entitle you to receive additional 10 discount points for the sale of new Software Blades to your customers, while approved deal registration for New Customers and Competitive Replacement entitles you to receive additional 20 discount points.
- How will my deal registration request be approved?
- Upon submission of your deal registration you will receive a confirmation email with your unique Deal Registration ID. Your deal information will be verified by Check Point's representatives and you will be notified again once your deal is approved.
- When will my deal registration request be approved?
- Internal review by Check Point's representatives will be completed within 7 business days and you will be notified with the outcome.
- How can I see the status of the deals I registered?
- Following the first deal registration submission you will be able to view a summary and status of all the deals you and your colleagues registered on www.checkpoint.com/dealreg.
- Once my registered deal is approved how do I apply for the additional program discount?
- Once you receive confirmation that your registered deal has been approved you can place an order immediately. In order to get the discount you need to include your deal registration ID and generic NSP# 20000826 on the distributor's PO to Check Point.
- What should I do with the unique Deal Registration ID I received when my deal is approved?
- You should keep your unique Deal Registration ID and include it on your distributor's PO to Check Point along with the generic NSP # 20000826.
- How long will my registered deal be secured once approved?
- Your deal registration will be secured for 90 days from the time of approval by Check Point.
- Which Check Point Software Blades are eligible for an additional discount in this program, and how can the customer evaluate them?
- The following Check Point Software Blade Products included under this Promotion:
- IPS
- Application Control
- URL Filtering
- Anti-Virus
- Anti-Bot
- Anti-Spam
- Compliance
- DLP
- Threat Emulation
Furthermore, the Deal Registration for Software Blades can be used for the sale of the following Software Blades Packages:
- Next Generation Firewall
- Next Generation Threat Prevention
- Next Generation Secure Web Gateway
- Next Generation Data Protection (not bundled with an appliance)
- Does the additional program discount apply to the rest of the Products/Services/Support I have on my orders?
- No, the additional discount only applies to Check Point New Software Blade products that were mentioned during the registration process that was approved by Check Point.
- What if my deal registration was approved but the customer chose to work with another reseller?
- Check Point will not compensate resellers for an approved deal registration which eventually closed with another reseller.
- Can Check Point distributors participate in this program?
- This program is only available for Check Point certified resellers. Distributors are not able to submit deal registration requests to Check Point.
- Can I apply for an additional NSP on top of the deal registration discount?
- No, additional NSP cannot be applied to the New Software Blades purchased with this Promotion.
