What's New in Check Point R77.30

R77.30 delivers large number of issues resolution with additional support for existing features.
    HTTPS Inspection: Performance and functionality enhancements

    Software Blades:

  • Threat Extraction, a new Software Blade in the Threat Prevention family that pro-actively cleans potential threats from incoming documents *
  • IPS Software Blade: support for DNS Tunnelling.
  • Application Control Software Blade: detailed monitoring and enforcement of Modbus traffic.
  • Mobile Access Software Blade and Remote Access: improved quality and feature enhancements

  • General enhancements and stability improvements:

  • Support to manage R77.20 version 1100 Appliances *
  • Clustering and routing stability fixes.
  • Improved distribution of traffic among CPUs to disperse load and apply traffic prioritization in high CPU events on Security Gateways (non-VSX)
  • Routing enhancements including: OSPF Graceful Restart, Static Multicast Routes, PBR based on protocol and destination port, and routing support in cadmin

CPUSE Installation hide instructions

  1. Open the Gaia portal > CPUSE > Status and Actions.

  2. Search for the Public EA upgrade package:
    1. Click Add hotfixes from the cloud.
    2. In the search bar type: R77_30_public_EA_upgrade

    3. Installation automatically starts when you click the R77.30 EA package.

  3. Login to the Gaia portal again, when prompted.
** If you do not have the latest version (build 729) of the CPUSE deployment agent, you will be asked to update it.
