Selling Secure Web Gateway
Use this as an opportunity to advise your customer about the Secure Web
Gateway, and where it would fit into their preventative security matrix. Show him
how it can be used to block known “bad stuff”, P2P
applications and sites that hackers use to spread
malware, and anonymizers that can be used to bypass
network security.
Further explain how the Check Point recommended
solution can help him understand what sites and
applications are not malicious, but rather his employees
use as part of their work. He may then use this
knowledge to define a security policy that will meet his
needs, and will add additional layers of web security
with Anti-Virus and IPS.
