BlueCoat and Websense have only limited customization of a block message, with
no way to gain information from the end-user or define different engagements for
different categories. Check Point’s UserCheck can be used to intuitively define
and customize effective end-user interactions.
Check Point offers over 4,700 applications in over 130 categories. Compare that
to the very limited (less than 150) application awareness of BlueCoat and
Websense.
BlueCoat requires an additional appliance to perform anti-virus. While Websense
does have anti-malware capabilities, they do not include the advanced bots
identification and damage prevention Check Point’s solution offers.
